Samsung has several smartphones to launch from its upper mid-range Galaxy A-series and among them, Galaxy A90 is said to be such a device. Well, there isn’t much available on the Galaxy A90 and a rumor mill has started for its kind of sibling from Galaxy M-series.
According to what is fed to SamMobile by its sources, the Galaxy M90 is going to be an online-only version of the yet-to-come Galaxy A90 phone. For a reminder for many, the Galaxy M-series was launched to be an online-only series from Samsung so M90 coming as one of them isn’t a surprise but calling it to be a similar version to the Galaxy A90 raises questions.
Samsung Galaxy A90 is rumored to be coming with Snapdragon 855 processor and it may cost around $700. For comparison, the Galaxy M-series which is a mid-range series targets the sub $300 market, so it seems dubious that Samsung will employ the high-end chipset into a mid-tier device. What could become possible is going in favor of a mid-range chip which won’t have 5G support because M90 is unlikely to offer this connectivity option. On the contrary, the Galaxy A90 is reportedly having a 5G model.
The tech site says its sources don’t have any word on a Galaxy M90 being developed. But in related news, a tip from ever-reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal has appeared to reveal that Samsung is working on a new phone from Galaxy M-series which could launch during October-November.
