If we have to talk about most rumored devices of the year, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G will definitely be a part of that list. It has been making rounds of the rumor mill since the beginning of 2019 and now over the weekend, more leaks have surfaced online. The new leaks show Galaxy A90 5G retail packaging and renders along with important specifications.
Starting with the retail packaging, the leak shows the Galaxy A90 5G box from the front as well as the back. The front side reveals the device's design showing a waterdrop-styled notched display. There are bare minimum bezels on all four sides with the power button and volume rockers on the right side. The back panel is purely clean except for vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup on the top left side. This suggests that the phone will come with the in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the retail box's backside, there are some crucial specifications written which is common with Samsung's retail packaging. It shows that the Galaxy A90 5G will have a 170.3 mm (about 6.7-inch) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. There is an undisclosed octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It could either be the sole configuration variant or the base model.
The triple rear cameras include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The box does not mention what exactly the other two sensors do. It has a 32-megapixel front camera which will be housed within the notch on the front panel. The battery capacity is also unknown but it will be supported by Samsung's Super Fast Charging.
In another leak, a Galaxy A90 5G promotional slide has surfaced which seems to have been released accidentally by Samsung on its official South Korean website. The slide shows the upcoming phone in White color and confirms the model number to be SM-A908N.
