UPDATE (November 4th, 2019):

Samsung has now expanded the PlayGalaxy Link app support to the Galaxy S10 series. It means you will be able to use the PC game streaming app on your Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10 5G, and Galaxy S10e. The procedure of using the app remains the same which has been explained below in the original coverage. The support is available with the PlayGalaxy Link v1.0.5 update which means you will need to install the update before you can start using it.

Original (September 12th, 2019)

Samsung has officially released PlayGalaxy Link application in beta stage for Windows PC and Android users. The app was initially announced alongside the Galaxy Note 10 launch and as promised, it has now been made available for usage. It is aimed at allowing PC users to stream their games on to the Galaxy Note 10 and play from anywhere.

The official website for the free service has also been made live and it claims, "Play your PC games on your Galaxy anywhere". It further details different features of the service and offers download links. To get started with using PlayGalaxy Link, you will need to install its companion app on your Windows PC as well as the Galaxy Note 10.

But before you get excited, you will need a PC that meets minimum requirements which are on the higher-end. These include a PC powered by Intel Core i5 or higher and NVIDIA GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 550 or higher GPU. It should have at least 8GB of RAM, Windows 10 operating system, and a Gigabit router. The Gigabit Internet connection requirement is only for the PC as the connected smartphone can be used on any WiFi or even on a cellular network (4G LTE or higher). Once the connection is established, you will be able to play using on-screen gaming controls which are customizable. The service also supports Bluetooth-powered gaming controllers.

The PlayGalaxy Link beta is currently limited to users from the United States and South Korea. Even though the service is intended for Galaxy phones, it works only with the Galaxy Note 10 series for now. The team will be expanding the service to more countries and devices in the future.
