Samsung's rebooted Galaxy Fold smartphone not only comes with a bunch of improvements and detailed care instructions to make it last longer but it also has a special customer support service. It is named Galaxy Fold Premier Service and as announced about four months ago, it has finally been made live in the United States.
The Galaxy Fold Premier Service includes a bunch of special perks for Galaxy Fold owners in the US. It has a dedicated customer support team called Fold Concierge. It is accessible via the Galaxy Members app as well as an exclusive number meant only for providing Galaxy Fold support. Samsung is offering 24/7 voice call support along with video call support available from Monday to Friday (9 AM to 10 PM Eastern).
Since Galaxy Fold is one of the first devices of its kind and offers new ways of interaction and getting things done, Samsung is also offering in-person tutorials. These tutorials will be about how to get started with the Galaxy Fold and to make most of its features and capabilities. The only thing to keep in mind is that a user will have to schedule an in-person appointment and as of now, it is available only in select areas.
Samsung is offering a one-time Galaxy Fold screen replacement for only $149. This special price can be availed only once and within one year of the purchase after which the standard price of $599 will be charged. There is also the option of same-day service but only for selected locations.
It is worth noting that the Galaxy Fold Premier Service is available only for the first year of Galaxy Fold purchase and that too for units bought on or before December 31, 2019. This is something you should definitely keep in mind if you are considering buying the luxurious phone because of the special customer support service.
