The Samsung Galaxy S11 is now rumored to arrive in three display sizes and a total of five variants. This bit of information has been shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) citing his sources. The three models will be successors to Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e respectively.
Blass tweeted that the smallest Galaxy S11 variant will have a 6.2- or 6.4-inch display size. The standard Galaxy S11 will have a 6.7-inch display and the biggest model Galaxy S11 Plus will sport a 6.9-inch display. It means all three models will have bigger display sizes as compared to predecessors.
Samsung is said to release the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11e in 4G LTE as well as 5G variants. The bigger Galaxy S11 Plus is expected to arrive with only 5G support. There will be curved-edge display panels for all 5G models which essentially means that there will not be any flat display model like Galaxy S10e this time around.
Lastly, he expects Samsung to follow the usual mid- to a late-February timeline for the Galaxy S11 launch. This is in line with a previous leak that claimed the launch event will take place on February 18th. The upcoming flagship is also rumored to feature a new 108-megapixel camera sensor and improved facial recognition technology. The battery capacity is expected to be around 3,730mAh for the Galaxy S11e which means other models should have at least 4,000mAh battery.
