While we are still figuring out if Samsung is launching the much-rumored Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite at the CES 2020 event, a new suspicion over the launch of a new device has come up to create more confusion. It is the upcoming Galaxy Tab S6 5G that Samsung has unofficially confirmed.
Samsung is running a new promotion in its home country wherein it’s offering some discounts and freebies on purchases of various products. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G is also there but as a coming soon product.
Back in October, Bluetooth SIG certification provided an impression that Samsung is readying its first 5G tablet and now its listing on the promotion’s landing page on Samsung Korea website has confirmed it as well. As we said earlier, the product is listed as “coming soon,” so there are further details adjoining the same.
The listing shows the same render as the LTE variant, so it can be assumed that the specifications are also going to be the same, except the 5G modem which will rather be an addition to it.
While the listing confirms the existence of Samsung’s first 5G tablet, it also confirms that the launch could be near and CES 2020 looks to be the best opportunity to showcase it. CES event is set to begin from January 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada where Samsung will unveil its mysterious NEON and tell us more about the same.
The listing confirms that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G will be launched in Korea but it is yet to be learned if Samsung has any plans to launch it outside its home country. And, if Samsung does have any plans to launch it in other markets, the tablet will probably take a couple of months to come out of Korea.
