09 January 2020 0

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S6 5G, the first 5G tablet is confirmed to be launched in the first quarter of this year. Also, it is somewhat already known that the new 5G variant will have the same internals and design as the 4G LTE variant, thanks to the very early spotting on the official website. But its appearance on the database of Android Enterprise further confirms it and offers a clearer look at the specifications.

The listing carries the specifications for the model number SM-T866N and it reveals, the tablet has a 10.5-inch display with 6GB RAM and it has a native storage of 128GB. The tablet is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS with Samsung’s One UI skin on the top.

These internal specifications are similar to the 4G LTE/Wi-Fi version of the tablet, though it could also be available in a higher edition featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.

Furthermore, an image showing an introduction to the Tab S6 5G has also been leaked and it reveals the key specs. The introduction card reads Galaxy Tab S6 5G, the world’s first 5G tablet and if it is real and not manipulated, then we are looking at the exact same set of specifications as available on the 4G LTE variant.

The world’s first 5G tablet from Samsung will be the same from both on the outside and the inside only with the addition of a Snapdragon X50 modem. There is an 8MP front camera and a wide-angle 13MP rear camera, with a 7,040mAH battery for 15 hours of video playback. It is going to be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor based on the 7nm process.

It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G will first launch in South Korea and the US and Europe will follow soon.
