Samsung Galaxy Buds, one of the most comfortable earbuds in the hearables industry is seemingly having a successor ready and we are getting a glimpse of it already and that too in different colors. We have already seen a render of it but the known tipster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter has posted a bundle of new renders, including a new color and also commented on the pricing of the same.
The tipster has clearly said that he has no information on the specification but does suspect that the earbuds are going to have a bigger battery as part of one of the common upgrades, apart from just the new color option.
It is expected that the next-gen earbuds from Samsung will be addressed Galaxy Buds Plus, though the tipster also suspects that the wearable may be addressed as the Galaxy Buds 2. As evident in the renders, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus or Buds 2 will come in three color variants – Black, White, and Light Blue colors.
As discussed earlier during an APK reveal, do not expect a lot of changes compared to the predecessor. In fact, the charging case of the buds looks almost the same as the one available with the first-gen buds.
The only visible difference is the presence of new physical buttons below the LED indicator and the addition of a new Blue color. These earbuds will also support wireless charging as well as charging over a USB Type-C port.
It is expected that Samsung would unveil these new earbuds at its scheduled Galaxy Unpacked event on February 11 where the new Galaxy S-series and probably the 2nd-gen foldable phone will launch. The tipster says there is a possibility that the new earbuds will be 50% more expensive than the current generation.
