As we are waiting for next month's Galaxy Unpacked event where Samsung is expected to announce the new Galaxy S20 series and a clamshell foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip, it is time for the first Galaxy Note 20 leak. Yes, you read that right. We already have leaked information about a phablet that is months away from the unveiling.
The leak is coming from the Chinese social network Weibo and it shows what looks like a Galaxy Note 20 case schematic. It gives an idea of what Samsung's next-gen Android phablet might look like. The first thing that you will notice is that the design language is very similar to what we have seen with the Galaxy S20 series leaks. Honestly, this is not surprising as Samsung is known to use similar designs for both flagship series devices from time to time.
The Galaxy Note 20 case leak shows a square-shaped camera cutout on the top left side of the back panel. This is a camera module design that has become popular among modern smartphones. It is likely to have at least three camera sensors but may also have four. The case has no cutouts on the right side but has a power button and volume rocker cutouts on the left side.
The bottom side has four cutouts meant for the microphone, speaker, USB Type-C port, and S Pen stylus. This suggests that Samsung has no intention of ditching the S Pen yet which has been reported on various occasions in the past. This is pretty much what is known about the Galaxy Note 20 for the moment. The leak appears to be believable but we would strongly suggest that you take this with a pinch of salt. Moreover, even if it is correct, there is still a long time for the launch and things can always change in the meantime.
