As said by the leakster Roland Quandt in one of the major leaks of Galaxy Z Flip. There is a secondary display on the back of the phone that has been placed on the top right corner, alongside the dual rear cameras setup. In the hands-on video, the external display of the alleged Galaxy Z Flip is showing the time, date, and battery percentage. This is an always-on display that lets you view the basic stuff without opening the device. According to Quandt, this external display is 1.06-inches in size and with 300x116 pixels resolution.

The look of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, the heavily-rumored Samsung’s next foldable phone has only been imagined as mockups but for the first time, we are seeing it in its complete flesh. Thanks to ever-reliable Roland Quandt, we are having our first-ever look at the official-looking press images.
Well, its rumored name had, at least, made one thing clear that the device is going to have a look like flip phones, more like the recently-launched Motorola Razr 2019. And, now the major leak has apparently confirmed it as well. The purported Galaxy Z Flip has this flexible display which is said to be using the “Ultra Thin Glass.” This type of glass is supposed to provide better protection than the film on the Galaxy Fold.
As it is quite apparent, this Purple-colored Galaxy Z Flip is featuring the Infinity-O Display, where the selfie camera is centrally aligned and housed in a punch-hole. And, referring to the older specs from another reliable tipster Max Weinbach from XDA Developers, it is going to be a 10MP dual-pixel front camera with f/2.4. On the back, there dual cameras, aligned in horizontal position and rumors say they are going to be two 12MP cameras (wide and ultra-wide). The tipster has also reported that both the front and main cameras are able to record videos in 4K with up to 30fps / 60fps.
According to the attached information by Quandt, the panel is in 22:9 format with 2636x1080 pixels resolution. The screen also supports HDR10+.
In the remaining report, the tipster corroborates or reiterates what is already known in terms of specifications, including the Snapdragon 855+ processor, 256GB non-expandable storage, though he also shared the RAM size, something we are learning now and it is 8GB RAM. The battery capacity is going to be 3300mAH and the power will be supplied via a 15W power supply via the USB Type-C port, while the wireless charging will offer up to 9 watts.
The tipster claims, the Galaxy Z Flip has a fingerprint reader on its right edge alongside the volume rocker. Also, the device has 167.9 × 73.6 × 7.2mm dimensions and it weighs 183 grams. Quandt also quotes the European price which is €1,500 and he reiterates that it will launch on February 14.
