The Galaxy Tab S6 Android tablet went official with Samsung’s One UI software on top of Android 9 Pie. And, it is now only receiving the Android 10 update. Samsung’s first Android 10-based software release was One UI 2.0 but the Galaxy Tab S6 skips it and gets the newest OneUI 2.1 directly. For your knowledge, the One UI 2.1 debuted on the Galaxy S20 series that launched in early February.
The changelog is big but we are adding here some of the notable features that new update has brought in for the Galaxy Tab S6 tablet. Some apps, including Calculator, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Notes, need to be updated individually after you update your Tab S6 with the latest OS update.
Users get enhanced image, text, and color adjustments for day and night environments, darkened wallpapers, widgets and alarms while Dark mode is on. The tablet gets full-screen gestures, smoother animations, Digital Wellbeing, and more. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 also gets Quick Share with the help of which files can be quickly and easily shared with nearby Samsung devices using Quick Share.
