Samsung has officially unveiled Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ at the virtual Galaxy Unpacked event. These are only premium and flagship Android tablets that you can get in the market from a globally renowned brand. Samsung has focused on delivering premium entertainment and productivity experience with the new offerings.
Starting with the Galaxy Tab S7+, it is the most premium offering between the two. The tablet sports a huge 12.4-inch Quad HD+ (2800 x 1752 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 865+ processor with up to 8GB of RAM. There are three configuration variants: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB that will be available for customers.
The table features a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual rear camera setup. The front camera is a single 8-megapixel sensor for taking video calls and capturing selfies. The whole package is powered by a 10,090mAh battery with support for 45W Super Fast Charging tech. It is a 5G capable tablet and other noteworthy features include S Pen stylus, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, AKG/Dolby Atmos supported quad speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The standard Galaxy Tab S7 has a similar set of specifications as the Plus variant but with a few differences here and there. It has a relatively smaller but still a huge 11-inch LTPS TFT display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is also smaller on the tablet i.e 8,000mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner on the tablet is mounted on the side frame. All other specs and features are unchanged including configuration options.
Samsung has priced that Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ at $649.99 and $849.99 respectively for the base models. Both tablets are available in Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, and Mystic Bronze color variants with sales beginning August 21st. And yes, it is up to the customer whether they want cellular or WiFi models of the tablets.
