Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 tablets at its Unpacked event held on August 5 where it unveiled the new Galaxy Note series. While it did mention that its new tablets are 5G capable, it announced the pricing and availability details of LTE versions only. Now, at its Unpacked Part 2 event, Samsung has announced the price of Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G as well.
As per the new announcement, the 5G models will hit the market on September 18. The price of the Galaxy Tab S7 5G starts at $850 and the Tab S7+ costs $1,050 that is $200 extra. Pre-orders start from today, Tuesday from Samsung’s official website.
All other details, including specifications and design, are the same. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G features an 11-inch LTPS TFT display with 2560x1600 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab S7+5G has a 12.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2800x1752 pixels resolution. Both of them feature a 120Hz refresh rate and are powered by Snapdragon 865+ processor with up to 8GB RAM. Galaxy Tab S7 5G has an 8,000mAh battery, while the Tab S7+ 5G has a 10,090mAh battery capacity.
They both come with S Pen stylus support and have USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, AKG/Dolby Atmos supported quad speakers. Both the tablets have a dual-camera setup on the back that includes a 13MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor. Both Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G support 4K video recording at up to 30fps. For taking selfies, they have an 8MP snapper as well. They both run Android 10 OS with Samsung One UI 2.5 on top and support 45W Super Fast Charging technology.
