Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 14.6-inch display tipped once again

17 September 2021 0

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series is turning out to be an exciting product lineup for Android tablet users, especially the Ultra variant. The rumor mill suggests that it is packed with features and specifications that many would consider being overkill for a tablet. A fresh tweet from tipster Ice Universe aka UniverseIce has corroborated those claims.

The tweet reveals that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will bear the model number SM-X906B. It will have a 14.6-inch display with 2960 x 1848 pixels resolution. This is undoubtedly a huge display for a tablet and is actually along the lines of a small-sized notebook. The leak further details that there will be an 11,500mAh battery to keep the lights on.

If we go by previous leaks, the Ultra model will have a display panel supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. There are said to be multiple configuration options featuring up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. The dual-camera setup reportedly includes a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. The front panel will have dual cameras as well where you will get an 8-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor.

There will be two more tablet models in the series that are tipped to be called Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+. These two will obviously be not that the same level as the Ultra model. The standard model is said to have an LTPS TFT display panel and the other two models with OLED panels.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
