Samsung worked closely with Qualcomm Technologies in the making of the Galaxy Note 7

Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), is a world leader in next-generation mobile technologies. The company today announced that its subsidiary Qualcomm Technologies is powering the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in various departments.

The Galaxy Note 7 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, X12 LTE modem, Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU, Qualcomm Hexagon 680 DSP and one of the distinct feature of the device, the iris scanner, is powered by Qualcomm Heaven. The Snapdragon 820 processor on the Galaxy Note 7 supports 4K video capture and slow motion video recording. The Qualcomm Aqstic audio codec, which is the same that is used in the HTC 10 delivers high-quality audio and for the 3,500mAh battery, we have Qualcomm Quick Charge technology, that charges the device in low time.
