Samsung announced its latest wearable Gear S3 earlier this year at the IFA event held in Berlin. Since then, it has made both the Frontier and Classic models of the Gear S3 available across different regions including the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the Europe. And now as per a new report, Samsung is planning to release the Gear S3 in India next month.
The report is coming from reliable SamMobile citing an anonymous source which states that Gear S3 will be launched sometime in January 2017 in India. It further mentions that Samsung will be launching both Frontier and Classic models in the country together. While we can't confirm the report, one reason to believe this is that the company launched the predecessor Gear S2 in India earlier this during January month as well.
The Gear S3 is a successor to the Gear S2 and comes with a lot of major upgrades. Some of the highlighting features include Full display Always On Display mode, GPS connectivity, 4G LTE support, and even inbuilt speakers which can be used for playing music as well as picking up calls.
