At the CES 2017, almost all the major companies revealed their set of new accessories and Samsung didn't stay behind. The company unveiled two new accessories for their smartphones -- the Level Box Slim Bluetooth speaker and the Image Stamp mobile printer. They describe it as "new ways to enjoy music and memories,"
The Level Box Slim, as seen in the image above, measures 148.4 x 79 x 25.1mm, and is a water-resistant portable speaker. Even though the current market is stacked with loads of portable speakers from Bose, Sony, JBL, Beats, and several others, Samsung hopes that the IPX7 rating might prove to be a differentiating factor. The IPX7 rating can help the speaker withstand immersion in water up to one meter for about 30 minutes.
The speakers have an output of 8W and a great battery life, thanks to the impressive 2,600mAh battery, which according to Samsung, provides a music playback of 30 hours. Another handy feature of the speaker is if the user's device is running low on juice, they can connect it to the speaker to charge the device.
Another accessory which the company unveiled is the Image Stamp, which essentially is the portable wireless printer. The gadget can be connected via NFC or Wi-Fi, and prints photos taken from smartphone with the aspect ratio of 16:9 and "ensures that the photos are printed exactly as they're presented on the user's screen." The printer also gives the user an option to add QR code to the photo for information like the location and time of the clicked photo.
Samsung, however, hasn't unveiled the pricing or availability of these two new accessories. The speaker is said to be available in select markets from early 2017.
