Samsung to reveal world’s largest QLED gaming monitor at Gamescom 2017

Samsung is going to launch “Samsung CHG90 QLED Gaming Monitor” at Gamescom 2017. Gamescom is the leading European trade fair, which is taking place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany from August 22nd to August 26th. This fair is the meeting point for global companies from the entertainment industry and the international gaming community.

As per the company, Samsung CHG90 will be the world’s largest QLED gaming monitor that delivers an IMAX-style cinematic viewing experience. It features a matte black body on top of a circle stand and a 49-inch super ultra-wide 32:9 high dynamic range gaming monitor. To provide seamless gaming experience, the monitor has a 3840 x 1080 resolution and a 1800R curvature. It has the support of two HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) ports, DisplayPort, and audio out connectivity options. For fresh and smooth scenes an amazing feature of rapid 144Hz screen refresh rate has been provided by Samsung. Also, Samsung CHG90 also offers a 1ms response time, more lifelike colors with Quantum dot, and a game mode option.

Seog-gi Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said

Gamers can have a more immersive and realistic experience with the new CHG90 monitor. This is the latest in our series of innovative gaming monitors designed to delight users and give them an edge over competitors while also increasing their comfort.”

The monitor provides multitasking facility and appealing design for game lovers. It is equivalent to two 27-inch 16:9 monitors side by side. The price is not yet revealed by the company.
