OnePlus 5 and 5T receive the OxygenOS Open Beta 7 and 5

OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have started gaining the new Open Beta builds from the company. The OnePlus 5 receives the Open Beta 7 and the OnePlus 5T has received the Open Beta 5. The changelog for both the device is same and the update does bring some noticeable features.

OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have now gained a recent search tag in the search app section of the app drawer. The same feature has been added to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T as well via the Open Beta builds.

The new Open Betas for OnePlus 5/5T have added improved accuracy of the current location. Both the smartphones now have new icons and updated UI. Also, the Gaming mode has received the network boost. This will bring priority to the gaming apps that a user is playing, thus giving more resources to it so as to have a lag-free experience.

It’s worth mentioning that these builds can contain some bugs as they are not as stable as the official OTAs. Also, this a gradual rollout, so, you have to be patient.
