Samsung Galaxy S10 gets Wireless PowerShare improvement and March security patch

26 March 2019 4

Finally, the South Korean giant Samsung rolled out the March security patch for the latest Galaxy S10 series before the end of March. Apart from the latest security patch, the latest update brings a few other improvements as well. The key improvement with the latest update is improvements to the Wireless PowerShare feature of S10, S10 Plus, and S10e.

As expected the changelog only reveals improvements to the Power Share but the exact details of improvements are in the dark. Like the first update, the new update also brings improvements to the camera's stability. Surprisingly the latest flagships from Samsung are amongst the last to receive the latest security patch.

With the latest update the Galaxy S10e firmware version reaches to G970FXXU1ASC8, the S10 firmware version is G973FXXU1ASC8 and the latest amongst all the S10+ is at G975FXXU1ASC8. The update is currently being rolled out in Europe, we can expect soon it will hit other regions. If you are amongst those who yet to receive the new update, you can checkout manually as well by going into Settings >> Software update >> Download update manually.

If you already received the update, feel free to share your thoughts with fellow readers in the comments section below.

Cool to see the upgrade for Wireless PowerShare coming to Samsung Galaxy S10. The icing on the cake would have been to know exactly what they improved.
