OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6, and OnePlus 6T have received new OxygenOS open beta builds that bring the Android security patch of this month, thus making them up-to-date and preventing them from any kind of potential risks. The OnePlus 5 owners will get the OxygenOS Open Beta 32 update, while the OnePlus 5T users will see the Open Beta 30 update.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 6 gets the Open Beta 18 and the OnePlus 6T gets the Open Beta 10 update. These new Open Betas doesn’t bring any vital changes but do note that it has made improvements to its data migration tool called the OnePlus Switch.
Earlier this month, the Open Beta updates of OnePlus 5 series improved Quick Reply feature while using the devices in landscape orientation. The updates also brought the new UI for the system update among some other new things, as per the changelog. And, the last update to the OnePlus 6 series brought the new intelligent clean-up feature in the file manager app.
If you wish to be into the beta channel then you must know that once migrating to the beta path, you will continue to receive Open beta OTA and official stable OTAs will not be released to your device. Beta builds are sometimes not as stable as the official OTAs, so do note that risk before you participate in the beta channel.
