OnePlus has released the OxgenOS 10.0.3 update to its OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. The update includes the November security patch and improvements to the system stability. There are no new features included but the update aims to bring fixes to so general bugs.
The OTA is a staged rollout and will be received by a limited number of users first, followed by a broader rollout which will happen in a few days. The staged rollout helps the manufacturer in confirming if there are any critical bugs. Once the first process goes on smoothly, the company rolls it out even further.
OnePlus has specifically noted in its forum page that this rollout is not region-based, so using a VPN may not help you to get it early. This is a random rollout where some users will randomly gain this update first and update their respective devices.
OnePlus has been releasing new OTAs to its latest OnePlus 7 series, that also includes the OnePlus 7 Pro. The last OxygenOS 10.0.2 brought a series of optimizations and fixes. There were some optimizations around Bluetooth connectivity in the automobiles, standby power consumption, charging performance among others. The update also fixed the fingerprint icon animation and volume issue back then.
