While Apple might be working on a new iPhone variant to be launched next year, people are still just getting used to its current design. Last week, Google rolled out a series of updates, one of which came as an update to the Maps for iOS adding iPhone X support just days after seeding its Slides, Sheets & Docs set of apps with support to embrace the new Apple phone.
Two days after Google rolled out an update to Gmail for iPhone X devices, Microsoft is updating Skype with exclusive support towards the Apple flagship. The update stresses on providing dedicated support to the iPhone X’s taller screen with a notch at the top.
In addition to filling the iPhone X’s entire screen, the latest version of Skype offers an overhaul in design for all iPhone users. Months after several criticisms of its previous design, the company has now moved the navigation bar to the bottom of the screen in order to access the same with ease. The UI spacing, in general, has gained width and there are numeric badges that show up on the navigation bar during calls, highlights, and chats.
Head over to the App Store to know access the changes from the latest version of Skype for iOS.
