LG has unveiled a new budget smartphone named LG W30 Alpha in India. It is the newest member of the LG W-series that was originally launched last year. The other phones in the series are LG W10, LG W30, and LG W30 Pro which means there are now four smartphones available in the country.

The LG W30 Alpha sports a 5.71-inch HD+ FullVision display with a dot-like notch at the top. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Spreadtrum SC9863 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The onboard storage is 32GB with microSD card support which makes it the only configuration option available in India.

In the camera department, it has an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as an 8-megapixel front camera. There is a 3,450mAh battery to keep the lights on that should last for about a day. It will be running Android Pie out of the box which should have LG's custom skin layered over it.

The LG W30 Alpha has been priced Rs. 9,999 for the sole 3GB/32GB model. It has been released in only the Black color option with sales expected to exclusive to offline stores. There are no official details about the availability of the smartphone yet.
