Oppo Find X2 pops up on online retail store | UPD: Teaser shows periscope lens

We are just two days away from the launch of the Find X2 series but this can't stop the company to tease about its device. While posting an image on its Weibo account, Oppo confirmed that the Find X2 series is going to have a periscope camera. The Find X2 is going to have triple rear cameras, out of which, one will be the periscope camera and as per the teaser, this lens is placed on the top in the lot and the other two conventional lenses are below to it in a line.

The silhouette of the device shows it has curved edges.

Apart from these confirmations, we are unable to extract more information from the image. Just curb your curiosity as the device is just a couple of days away from the launch.

Oppo Find X2 that is now speculated to rather launch in March due to the canceled MWC event has been in rumors already. In fact, the company itself is teasing and talking about the features the device is going to adorn too often. Brian Shen, Oppo’s VP has been posting his findings on the battery life and other interesting aspects of this phone, though without naming it the Find X2.

Well, we aren’t too far away from the said launch of the Oppo Find X2 but the device has already been spotted for sale on an online Vietnamese retailer. Its availability listing reveals key specifications and the price as well.

Going by what has been spotted, Oppo Find X2 is priced at $1,700 and it features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 6 and a hole-punch selfie camera, accommodating a 32MP sensor. And while it is not listed, the screen should include a 120Hz refresh rate as confirmed by the company itself on many occasions. Its triple camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor, 13MP and 8MP sensors that will be able to record videos at 2160p@30fps as well as 1080p@240fps.

The Find X2 includes a base variant with Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, and a 4,065mAH battery.

The listed price looks like a placeholder for now and there are two color options listed – Blue Ocean and Blue Sea Night.
