Motorola has at least three smartphones lined up for a launch in the near future. One of the smartphones named Moto Edge Plus is a true flagship and the other two Moto One Mid and Moto G8 Power Lite are said to be mid-rangers. XDA's Mishaal Rahman has shared some crucial specifications details about all the three models via his tweets.
Starting with the Moto Edge Plus, it is set to be Motorola's first true Android flagship release since it unveiled Moto Z3 despite it featuring an older flagship processor. The upcoming premium phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor which means it should be 5G compatible as well. It is expected to sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The top-end model of the phone will come with a whopping 12GB of RAM but there are no details on the base model. It is reported to offer over 5,000mAh battery which Rahman is speculating to be 5,170mAh. The phone will be a Verizon exclusive in the United States and will also be sold globally.
Next up, Motorola will release Moto One Mid with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which was released in 2018. It is hard to guess why Motorola would opt for an old chipset when Qualcomm has released many new ones. Nevertheless, the phone will have a 4,000mAh battery.
Lastly, Motorola G8 Power Lite will be a smartphone with MediaTek Helio P35 processor and a 6,000mAh battery. The huge battery capacity is expected because of the smartphone name. It further suggests that it will simply be a cheaper version of the Moto G8 Power that features the Snapdragon 665 processor but smaller 5,000mAh battery.
