India is already one of the most expensive countries to buy an iPhone and now, Apple has hiked iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max prices. The decision is said to have been taken due to the increased import duties introduced in the Union Budget 2020. The change has also affected the iPhone 8 series pricing.
Here are the updated pricings after the hike:
These are the only iPhone models that have received price bumps. All other Apple products including widely popular iPhone 7, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 have their prices unchanged. The new prices are already listed on the Apple India website but eCommerce partners Flipkart and Amazon India are yet to make the changes.
