Apple iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, tvOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2, and macOS 10.15.4 released

24 March 2020 0

Apple has released the iOS 13.4, iPadOS, tvOS 13.4, macOS 10.15.4 and watchOS 6.2 to the public. The new operating system updates introduce many new features, bug fixes, and improvements as well.

The new iOS 13.4 and the iPadOS 13.4 may have received the support for the Powerbeats 4, set of earphones from Beats announced a few days back. The iCloud Driver folder sharing comes to iOS 13.4. This is a Dropbox-like feature that allows you to share a folder once, and have anyone be able to see the contents of that folder as they change.

One of the main features of the iPadOS 13.4 is trackpad support that will be used in the new Magic Keyboard accessory, coming in May. One of the biggest changes in iOS 13.4, as well as macOS Catalina 10.15.4, is that developers can now sell macOS and iOS versions.

The tvOS 13.4 update brings small design changes to streamline the look of the TV app. It adds Family Sharing integration so users can access iTunes content. The new update can be downloaded over the air through the Settings app on the Apple TV by going to System > Software Update.

The watchOS 6.2 update brings ECG support and irregular heart rhythm notifications to some countries. The update also fixes an issue that interrupted music playback when switching from WiFi to Bluetooth connectivity. You can download the latest update by going to General > Software Update.

Apple is also releasing iOS 12.4.6 for older iPhones and iPads today as well.
