UPDATE (March 31st, 2020):
C. Manmohan, General Manager of POCO, has officially denied rumors that Poco F2 will be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. He made the announcement during a digital fan meetup held through Zoom. It was revealed both are completely different smartphones and Poco F2 will not be priced around Rs. 20,000.
Another interesting revelation made during the meetup was that Poco is working on bringing TWS earbuds to India. It is unknown whether these will be a completely new offering or a rebranded Xiaomi product.
UPDATE (March 30th, 2020):
A new 91Mobiles report has claimed that the Poco F2 will arrive with the standard 60Hz refresh rate in India. The claim cites speculations of it being a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro smartphone. Since the phone itself has only 60Hz panel, it means the Poco F2 should have the same panel as well.
If this turns out to be true, the phone is likely to face tough competition from other options that offer 90Hz or even 120Hz displays at a similar price point. This is only a speculation at this point but is undoubtedly a reasonable one.

Ever since Poco announced its plans to become an independent brand, its fans were excited for the launch of the much-awaited Poco F1 successor. It went on to announce Poco X2 which is essentially a Redmi K30 rebranded version which left Poco F1 fan slightly disappointed. But as per a new report, it seems like Poco F2 is finally getting closer to an official release.
As per XDA folks, Redmi K30 Pro is the smartphone that will be released as a rebranded Poco smartphone. The exact model number is unknown but is speculated to be the Poco F2. The report is based on MIUI 11 source code spotted by kacskrz, an XDA Junior Member. The code was specifically spotted in the MIUI 11 beta camera app.
The Redmi K30 Pro has a codename "lmi" but the folks spotted another device code "lmiin". It is expected to be an Indian variant of the smartphone. The camera app code further showed that photos clicked with the phone will have a "Shot with Poco" watermark by default. This suggests that the Indian launch of the phone will be under the Poco brand.
It is worth mentioning that these are only speculations for the time being. There is no surety if this will actually turn out to be true or even if it does, then the phone will be named Poco F2. We will suggest you take this information with a pinch of salt until more credible proof emerge.
