Samsung Galaxy devices can now access Netflix video streaming Android app via Bixby voice controls as the support is now live. Samsung announced the feature back at its Unpacked event as a part of the partnership with Netflix but it took some time for the company to make it available. Nevertheless, the support is now live and the users can now access the streaming app with a mere voice command and take full advantage of it.
The most recent update to the Netflix app will let you control it with the help of the Bixby voice assistant and it works similarly to what Google Assistant offers. So, you just have to ask Netflix to play the TV show or movie you want to watch. You can also pause and play video or skip them entirely with the help of Bixby.
During the event, Samsung also promised that Galaxy phones users will be able to get exclusive access to some content like Narcos. But it is unclear whether this support also goes live after you update.
