Huawei is supposedly gearing up to launch the new lineup in the Nova series. According to a poster surfaced on Weibo today, this is going to be Nova 7 and it could come with an interesting feature in terms of camera.
According to the poster, Huawei Nova 7 will pack the Kirin 985 SoC, the same processor which powers the recently launched Honor 30. The new Kirin 985 brings 5G connectivity and performance which is near to the flagship Kirin 990 SoC.
The teaser poster also reveals a rectangular camera module that includes four cameras, where the fourth hole in the setup houses a periscope lens set offering up to 50x digital zoom.
The poster also reveals the Nova 7 is going to have a curved display and a pill-shaped dual punch hole on the front. From the back, the Nova 7 looks similar to P40 Pro by the rectangular module is narrower. The dual-selfie camera is also visible in the poster but the configuration is unknown.
The poster doesn’t offer a clear look at the look of the device but a few minor things can still be seen. The handset shows the power button and the volume rocker are residing on the right edge. The fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found, indicating that it is embedded under the glass.
It is also reported that the device would cost CNY 3,000 ($425). Rumors also suggest that the Nova series will include Nova 7, Nova 7 SE, and Nova 7 Pro and they will come on April 23.
