Poco F2 with model number M2004J11G reportedly listed on IMEI database

17 April 2020 0

Poco F2 existence had been questioned many times in the past but not so long ago, various instances have confirmed that Poco is indeed bringing the much-anticipated successor to the Poco F1. However, one big puzzle is still unsolved and we all are looking for its answer, this is about its launch. The Poco F1 received great responses from the consumers and the same is expected from its successor as well.

As mentioned above, the Poco F2 has now apparently been caught on another major database and this could be a great indication towards a near launch. Spotted first by the tipster Mukul Sharma, the listing of the Poco F2 has allegedly been found on the IMEI database. The listing of the device could have gone completely overlooked had it been not referred to the name directly. As per the tip, the moniker “Poco F2” is directly written in the database alongside the model number M2004J11G.

This concludes us to the fact that the device with the same model number that was spotted earlier this month on Eurasian Regulator’s Website is indeed the Poco F2.

Gradually, the Poco F2 appears to be grabbing all the necessary certifications for a near launch. But the current situation due to the COVID-19 could halt the process of launch. Many manufacturers have been launching their new products amid this pandemic and launching Poco F2 during the same period won’t be a surprise. But given that the Poco F2 is a highly-anticipated phone, Poco may want to do some special arrangements for its launch.

The Poco F2 was assumed to be the successor to the Redmi K30 Pro but Poco India General Manager C Manmohan denied all such claims. The details on the Poco F2 are pretty scarce so we should not guess anything too soon and rather wait for more details to come.
