UPDATE (April 20th, 2020):
Jon Prosser, a well-known YouTuber and Apple tipster, has shared a new tweet revealing iPhone 12 series notch design. It shows that notch has a smaller design but includes all major sensors. These include an infrared camera, ambient light sensor, front camera, flood illuminator, proximity sensor, and dot projector. It means that despite having a smaller notch, iPhone 12 series will have the same powerful and secure Face ID tech.

As the affordable iPhone SE (2020) has been made official and it is turning out to be one of the best phones at its price range, the focus of Apple fans has now shifted to the iPhone 12 series. EverythingApplePro, a well-known YouTuber, has collaborated with XDA's Max Weinbach to release a video that details iPhone 12 design, specifically the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Filip Koroy, the host of the video, has mentioned that shared details are about 70% correct which is not a bad percentage by any means. It is said that the display and body details are correct but incorrect camera details have been added as part of security measures. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is widely rumored to sport a 6.7-inch display but the newest leak gives an idea of what it would look and feel like in real.
The most important thing to note about the new iPhone 12 Pro Max design is the return of flat edges. It is a design that will remind any Apple fan about the iPhone 5S. It is said to measure 160.84 x 78.09 x 7.39mm in dimensions that make it taller and wider but slimmer than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The flat design is what helped Apple achieve these differences.
The front panel has also received a minor redesign in the form of a smaller notch. Apple is said to be working on two types of notch design with no confirmation on which one will make its way to the final product. The first notch design has the same height as the one is available with the current-gen iPhone 11 series. The width has been reduced while adding curves to the notch. The second design also has curves but it has unchanged width and reduced height.
The camera module will continue to have the same square shape but it will be wider than before. It will have a similar triple camera setup as the iPhone 11 Pro Max but along with a new LiDAR Scanner that we saw with the iPad Pro (2020). In other words, it will be a quad-camera setup which will be a first for any iPhone.
Lastly, it seems like Apple is working on releasing the iPhone 12 series with the Smart Connector. It is a custom connector available on iPads and helps in connecting various accessories to enhance functionality. If this turns out to be true, we could also see Apple announce a bunch of new accessories for iPhones.
