Since the last couple of weeks, LG is sharing new details about its revamped branding and product strategy for the new lineup. It revealed design sketches at the beginning of the month followed by the model name last week. LG has now released an official video revealing the design in full as well as confirming the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor.
The video shows the LG Velvet smartphone from the front and back panel but with a focus on the camera module design. It is the Raindrop camera design which is different from what we have seen in other smartphones. It has the primary sensor larger in size followed by other vertically-aligned small-sized sensors. The alignment is in such a manner that they look like raindrops falling down.
The LG Velvet features a premium design with glossy finishes in four colors. These include White, Black, Emerald Green, and a color that appears to be a combination of Orange and Pink. The overall appearance of the phone is undoubtedly a premium one that feels luxuries and sets it apart from the competition.
The technical specifications of LG Velvet are unknown but the video has revealed that it will make use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor. It is a 5G capable processor meant for mid-range smartphones suggesting that the phone will be quite affordable for many buyers.
