Oppo is reportedly working on yet another budget Android phone with Snapdragon 665 processor and it will launch under the Reno series. The known tipster Ishan Agarwal in collaboration with Pricebaba has revealed some key information regarding the new phone. According to the site, the device in question is Oppo Reno3 A and it has some decent set of specifications to offer.

Just like the recently launched Oppo A52, the new Reno3 A will come powered by Snapdragon 665 processor as well. Apart from this key information, the site posts other details as well, including the camera configuration. The Reno3 A is said to feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. It may come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

According to what’s been tipped off, the Reno3 A has quad rear cameras setup, where the 48MP with f/1.7 aperture is the primary snapper, followed by an 8MP f/2.25 camera, and two f/2.4 2MP cameras. The site mentions that while the specs of these cameras are untold, we can expect the 8MP camera to be a wide-angle one, and the two 2MP cameras could be macro and depth sensors. The device is said to have a 16MP selfie camera.

The site goes on to reveal the battery capacity as well, which is 4,025mAh. The fast charging support, however, is not confirmed yet. It runs ColorOS 7.1 presumably above Android 10. It measures 161x74x8.2mm in dimensions and weighs 175g.

Pricing and availability details are still unknown, we can’t tell how much the Reno3 A is going to cost. For comparison, the Oppo A52 with Snapdragon 665 processor and quad rear cameras launched at a mid-range price. But it features 12MP primary sensor compared to the rumored 48MP sensor in the Reno3 A. So, the price may go slightly higher here.

Let’s wait for more information to join.
