LG Velvet is an upcoming smartphone that is set to go official at an event on May 7th. Even though LG has only shared a few teasers to keep the phone a mystery until the release, we now have a couple of leaks revealing important details. Both leaks are from South Korean sources who have revealed key specs and features.
The leak mentions that LG Velvet will measure 167.1 x 74.0 x 7.85 mm in dimensions and weigh about 180 grams. The processor is listed to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G which we already knew about through the promo video. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It will be expandable through microSD cards up to 2TB.
The triple rear camera setup is claimed to include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It is the same setup that will have the new Raindrop camera design. The front camera is tipped to be a single 16-megapixel shooter.
The battery capacity is listed to be 4,300mAh and LG Velvet is even said to come with IP68 certification. It is even said to have a 3.5mm headphone jack which has started to disappear from many modern phones.
