The launch of Google Pixel 4a, the affordable version of Google’s Pixel 4 phones continues to be a big question, especially when the device looks to be fully prepared and somewhere in the pipeline. Well, the answer is unknown but now we, at least, have a speculated date to rely on and move forward from here.
According to a German blog Cashsys that managed to obtain the internal documents for Vodafone Germany, the local branch of the international carrier, the Pixel 4a will be available through the network starting May 22.
So, this could be the same day of Google Pixel 4a’s launch as the company generally makes available its new products on the same day of the launch.
The official price of the Pixel 4a is still unknown but referring to a leaked advertisement board that was reported last month, the Pixel 4a could be tagged at $399 price.
Google launched the Pixel 3a on May 7 last year at its annual I/O conference. But this year’s Google I/O event is not happening, so this could be the reason that the device is coming a little late.
Going by the previous leaks, the Pixel 4a will feature a single hole-punch camera which is located on the top-left corner of the display. On the back, the Pixel 4a has a square-ish kind of module that holds only a single 12MP camera with an LED flash. The circular-shaped fingerprint scanner is also mounted on the back. The device may carry the Snapdragon 730 processor and could come coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage options.
