Are we just too close to witnessing the last possible solution to a full-screen smartphone profile? Is the first smartphone with an in-screen camera just around the corner? Well, we don’t have a “yes” to all such questions but what has surfaced now implies that the day may not be too far.
Samsung published an advertisement video for its new wind-free air conditioners on its channel and the video features an unannounced phone as well. That phone carries no notch or punch-hole whatsoever that could hinder the full-screen from spreading even further. In other words, the mysterious phone’s display bears nothing that’s from the current display design trend. It appears that the device in question is simply featuring the under-display camera and this could be the Galaxy Note 20 which we could deem as the only phone carrying it too early.
However, it could nothing be more than just conjecture and clearly, we need more evidence to come to any conclusion.
It is also possible that the spotted device is a phone from the Galaxy A series, possibly the speculated Galaxy A21s with a pop-up selfie camera. A couple of days back, a well-known tipster @OnLeaks shared renders of an unnamed Galaxy A phone, and that device was addressed as Galaxy A21s after referring to a tip that came later. But we doubt that the device spotted in the advertisement is the rumored Galaxy A21s. Well, here is a reason for believing in that.
The phone you see in the advertisement has a volume rocker and power button on the left side, whereas the same combination is present on the right side of the rumored Galaxy A21s. So, this comes as somewhat a deciding factor that what we are seeing in the advertisement video from Samsung is not from the Galaxy A series and could rather be the much-awaited Galaxy Note 20 with an under-screen camera.
The spotted device could also be referred to as corroboration for a leak that appeared a week back. An unknown device with a similar full-screen profile was seen sandwiched between two existing devices of Samsung. It was also questioned whether the device is carrying a selfie camera beneath the display?
