An alleged smartphone claimed to be OnePlus Z has been spotted on Geekbench. The listing shows the phone with model number OnePlus AC2003 but it is not concrete proof. Nevertheless, the phone in question here is listed with an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It is said to be the Snapdragon 765G chipset as mentioned in previous reports.
The listing further shows 12GB of RAM and Android 10 as the operating system version. The phone managed to score 612 and 1255 in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

OnePlus is expected to bring a new inexpensive contender to fight against many existing phones and devices to come. The phone is rumored to debut by the name OnePlus Z with OnePlus X-like design, though with some ongoing trends.
Last month, a notable tipster who goes by the name Ishan Agarwal tipped that the OnePlus Z will feature MediaTek’s processor, Dimensity 1000 chipset to be specific. But now another tipster Max J. has claimed the phone will rather be powered by Snapdragon 765G processor. Both the tipsters have a pretty good track record for OnePlus reports, but we can’t confirm which tip is right at the moment. We need to wait to come to any conclusion.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G is not as great as the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor but it is perfectly suited for mid-range phones. It has a 5G modem built into the chip itself and it does not elevate the price tags as well.
Max J. also tipped last month that the phone will come with a punch-hole display and later we found an allegedly real photo on the same as well, though nothing is official yet. So, take all these tips with a grain of salt and wait for some confirmation. The device is expected to go official in July as per tipster’s old tip.
The OnePlus Z is expected to bear 90Hz display, flat AMOLED display, 48MP triple rear camera setup. It may also feature the Warp Charge 30T wired charger for fast charging as well.
Looking at all the leaked and tipped details, it appears the OnePlus Z is going to give a tough competition to some of the existing phones and devices to come. It is being assumed that Google may be employing the same Snapdragon 765G processor in Pixel 5. So, in terms of pricing, the yet-to-come OnePlus Z may outdo Pixel 5 but in other situations, Pixel 5 will have a glorified victory, especially when it comes to camera quality. Still, we should not jump to any conclusion and rather wait for more details to come as the rumored July launch timeframe is too far from now.
