Oppo has released a new mid-range smartphone named Oppo A92 in Malaysia. It is essentially a rebranded version of the Oppo A72 that was unveiled last month. There is no difference in specs and features which means you will get a quad-camera setup, punch-hole display, and a bigger battery.
The Oppo A92 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Neo display with punch-hole in the top left corner. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The onboard storage is 128GB with support for microSD cards for storage expansion.
On the back, you will find a 48-megapixel primary camera paired with an 8-megapixel camera and two 2-megapixel sensors. The front camera is a single 16-megapixel sensor that is housed within the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W Flash Charge fast charging support.
The phone will run ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10 out of the box. Other features include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Oppo A92 is priced at MYR 1,200 i.e. about $280 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. It will be made available in Shining White and Twilight Black color variants.
