Huawei Y6P, Y5P phones and MatePad T8 tablet launched in Europe

Huawei has introduced two new budget smartphones Huawei Y6P and Huawei Y5P in Europe. The same announcement also saw the release of the MatePad T8 Android tablet in the market. All of these are entry-level products with nothing fancy or premium going on. Let's have a look at them one at a time.

Huawei Y6P
  • 6.3-inch HD+ IPS LCD notched display
  • MediaTek Helio P22 processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 64GB onboard storage
  • 13MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP depth camera
  • 8MP front camera
  • 5,000mAh battery
  • EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10

The Huawei Y6P has been priced at RON 799 i.e about EUR 165 in Romania. It will go on preorders tomorrow with an option to choose from Purple, Black, and Green color variants.

Huawei Y5P
  • 5.45-inch HD+ TFT LCD display
  • MediaTek Helio P22 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB onboard storage
  • 5MP front camera
  • 3,020mAh battery
  • EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10

The Huawei Y5P will cost buyers RON 599 i.e. about EUR 125 in Romania. It will be sold in Mint, Blue, and Black colors with pre-orders starting tomorrow.

Huawei MatePad T8
  • 8-inch IPS LCD display with 1200 x 800 pixels resolution
  • MediaTek MTK8768 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB/32GB onboard storage
  • 5MP rear camera
  • 2MP front camera
  • 5,100mAh battery
  • EMUI 10.0.1 based on Android 10

The Huawei MatePad T8 will be available for RON 500 i.e. EUR 100 in Romania. The sale will begin by the end of this month with only Blue color option.
