The Vivo Y30 is the newest budget smartphone from the company that has been unveiled in Malaysia. It is a phone that comes with quad rear cameras and a bigger battery. It also follows the current trend of punch-hole display suggesting that the company may be targeting youth customers.
Starting with the display, the Vivo Y30 sports a 6.47-inch HD+ Ultra O display with a punch-hole in the top left corner. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor and 4GB of RAM. It will come with 128GB of onboard storage which is the only storage option with the phone. However, it is unclear whether the phone supports microSD card.
The phone has a 13-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a single 8-megapixel sensor that is housed within the punch-hole. There are a few camera features as well that should help buyers click better photos.
The battery capacity is 5,000mAh and is supported by the standard 10W charging. It will run Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10 out of the box. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The Vivo Y30 has been priced at RM899 i.e. about $208 in Malaysia. It will be available in Dazzle Blue and Moonstone White color variants.
