OnePlus 65W fast-charging may arrive on its next flagship phone

08 May 2020 0

OnePlus’ every new phone takes a big leap over its predecessor by grabbing some new features and capabilities. Its new phones do feature improvements but more often than not they are just one up from their own siblings. However, OnePlus gradually manages to chase the trend and the too decently, and the 30W wireless charger is one such achievement to exemplify here. Nevertheless, the upgrades are still a welcome change for the price the company tags them at.

Now, OnePlus appears to be adopting one more major tech trend sooner and if everything goes well, we may see it coming next year or even this year on the “T” series phones.

A listing of a new OnePlus charger with 65W power output (10V/65A) on the RUV Rheinland certification has been found by the folks over at MySmartPrice. The listing also reveals the model numbers of the charger and these are VCA7JAH, WC1007A1JH, and S065AG.

It is unknown on what new OnePlus phone this new charging tech will debut but there are speculations that upcoming OnePlus 8T or the OnePlus 9 could feature this tech. We doubt that the OnePlus 8T will grab such a major change, but considering its rivals already have it, it may decide to put it on this year's OnePlus 8T. Oppo had already brought the 65W charging solution for its Reno Ace and Ace2 phones and it is possible that OnePlus 8T could get as one of the different features than the standard series.

Let’s wait for more information for more substantiality of the report.
