Even though Google is yet to release Android 11 Beta, Realme has started recruitment for a new beta program that will allow users to try out the next major Android version. The program is called Realme X2 Pro Long-term Beta with a duration of about one year. It is a lengthy program in terms of time and as a result, it has been divided into two phases.
The first phase is 'Closed Beta' where Realme X2 Pro users will get to check out unreleased Realme UI features. These will be the features that are under consideration but have not been confirmed for the final implementation. The beta testers will have an opportunity to share feedback and help Realme decide which features make their way to the stable build. In other words, the first phase is simply like any other closed beta group.
It is the second phase which is far more interesting and should attract more fans. This is where testers will receive Android 11 Early Access Beta that will make one of the few select users trying out the new Android version along with Pixel users. Realme has not mentioned any timeline for both phases which means we will have to wait and see for how long each phase will last.
If interested, you will have to post on the Realme community on any topic of your interest and also fill up a form. The last of application submission is May 18th and the name of selected members will be revealed on May 22nd. Only 100 users will be selected from all valid applications. Realme has advised that one should apply only if they are willing to be a part of the program for a period of one year.
