The Pixel 4a is grabbing all the attention, thanks to some early stuff available on the internet. Now, the price of the Pixel 4a 128GB model is tipped as well. Stephen Hall, Managing Editor at 9to5Google has mentioned in one of the publication’s Alphabet Scoop podcast that the Pixel 4a will be priced at $349. This means it is going to be cheaper than the newly-launched iPhone SE (2020).
We can’t comment on how legitimate the tip is but if it is true then Google is about to undercut Apple with the price of its upcoming Pixel 4a. This is interesting because the tipped price is for the 128GB model. So, we can imagine the price of the 64GB Pixel 4a model to be even cheaper than this.
The price of the Pixel 4a first came to notice when an advertisement banner was spotted. The ad showed $399 price which is the same price at which Pixel 3a was launched as well. So, it was expected that its successor will be launched at the same price. But the new tip is even more delightful.
Stephen has tipped the price via Twitter as well and followers are replying with their happy tweets already. It would be interesting if Google decides to launch Pixel 4a at such an aggressive price tag in other countries as well where it didn't launch Pixel 4. For instance, Pixel 4 is not available in India and if Google manages to bring the pricing of Pixel 4a down in the country then it would be a great deal for the prospective buyers.
Pixel 4a is expected to feature a 5.81-inch OLED FHD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 730 processor, Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB RAM, 3080mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. It will feature a single 12.2MP rear camera with autofocus and OIS/EIS.
Pixel 4a was put to benchmark tests even against its existing siblings and there are many more tidbits around the device which are available ahead of the launch.
