Realme 2 Pro update brings May 2020 security patch

Realme has pushed a new software update for Realme 2 Pro that brings May 2020 security patch. It is an important update for the upper mid-range smartphone that is a few months shy of completing two years. It s an over the air update (OTA) that should become available for all the users eventually.

The major change included in the changelog is undoubtedly May 2020 security patch level. Another major change is related to optimizing the lagging problem of the sliding status bar. These are the two major changes that have been mentioned in the changelog. It means the rest of the changes included are about performance improvements and optimizations.

The new Realme 2 Pro update bears the build number RMX1801EX_11_C.31. All the users should receive an update notification as and when it arrives but one can always check for the same manually. It can be done by visiting the phone's settings followed by the software update option.
