The iQOO Z1 5G has finally gone official in China after being the part of several leaks and speculations. It is the world’s first smartphone powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus processor by MediaTek. Some other notable highlights of the phone that need a mention before any other specification are 144Hz display and 44W fast-charging tech.
The iQOO Z1 5G carries a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with FHD Plus resolution and HDR10 support. The phone holds a 48MP triple-lens camera setup, where the other two cameras are an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. Some of the camera capabilities include Hyper HDR, human eye tracking, low-light, and ultra-wide photography. All these cameras are housed inside a rectangular-shaped module that also carries dual-LED flash. The phone comes with a 16MP front shooter which is placed inside a single punch-hole located on the top-right corner on the display.
The iQOO Z1 is equipped with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256 GB. It also carries a microSD card slot, in case you want to expand the storage even further. The smartphone features a 4,500mAh battery with 44 fast-charging support that is capable of charging the device up to 50% in just about 20 minutes.

The price of the iQOO Z1 5G for the base model 6GB RAM with 128GB storage is 2,198 Yuan (approx $309); the 8GB RAM with 128GB model costs 2,498 Yuan ($351); the highest storage model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 2,798 Yuan ($394).
The iQOO Z1 5G comes in two color options such as Space Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Symphony Meteor color options. Vivo will also sell silicone protective case and game controller for Z1 buyers. The pre-sales of the iQOO Z1 5G will start on other e-commerce platforms in China from May 25 and the first sale will be carried out on June 1 in China. Currently, the pre-bookings are going on Vivo's official website.
The company has also announced a few accessories for the device. These include 3D texturized covers, a Bluetooth controller with an analog joystick, and a pair of neckband-style wireless earbuds.
Currently, there is no word on the availability of the iQOO Z1 5G outside in China.
