Realme's mega launch event meant for Chinese and Indian markets is now over. We have already covered two main releases of the event i.e. Realme Watch and Realme TV. It is now time to have a look at there products that were announced at the stage. These include Realme Buds Air Neo and Buds Q truly wireless earphones along with two new power banks.
As the name suggests, the Realme Buds Air Neo are essentially similar to Realme Buds Air but with a few noticeable differences. These feature a 13mm driver for dynamic bass boost which is larger than the 12mm driver on the previous model. These are powered by Realme's proprietary R1 chip and are claimed to offer a super-low latency of 119.2 ms. They boast the IPX4 water resistance rating.
They support touch-based gestures for interaction and are said to offer 17 hours of total playback and up to 3 hours through the buds themselves. However, these new buds do not support wireless charging and Environment Noise Cancellation. The Realme Buds Air Neo have been priced at CNY 270 and Rs. 2,999 in China and India respectively. These will be sold in Green, White, and Red color options but only the White one is currently available for purchase.
The Realme Buds Q are the cheapest truly wireless earphones from the company. These feature a completely different design than the other two models and look similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds. Realme has collaborated with Jose Levy, a French designer, for the wireless buds and have released them exclusively for China as of now.
These buds come with a 10mm audio driver and 119ms audio latency. These also feature IPX4 water-resistance certification, Bluetooth 5.0 for instant pairing, and 20 hours of total battery life. But just like Neo, they do not support wireless charging either. The Realme Buds Q will cost CNY 149 but for a limited time, they can be grabbed for just CNY 129.
The two power banks are named Realme 10000mAh Power Bank 2 and Realme 30W Dart power bank. The first one is a 10,000mAh power bank with one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port. It further supports 18W two-way fast charging and costs only Rs. 999 in India. As for the second one, it has the same capacity but offers 30W charging and reverse charging capabilities. It is exclusive to China but pricing details have not been revealed yet.
