Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo Y70s as the world's first smartphone with Exynos 880 processor. It is the newest 5G chipset from Samsung meant for mid-range smartphones with a focus on gaming performance. The phone has been launched in China and is loaded with a number of different features including multiple cameras.
The Vivo Y70s sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90.72% screen-to-body ratio and punch-hole in the top left corner. Under the hood, it has the Exynos 880 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Both configuration variants come with the single 128GB onboard storage
The triple camera setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with dual-LED flash. The front camera includes a 16-megapixel selfie sensor with support for 1080p video recording. The selfie camera is housed within the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It will run Funtouch OS 10.0 based on Android 10 out of the box. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0, a microUSB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo Y70s has been priced at CNY 1,998 (about $280) for the 6GB/128GB model and CNY 2,198 (about $308) for the 8GB/128GB model.
