Realme has been on a launch spree this month as it has announced new phones, smartwatch, truly wireless earphones, and other things so far. It unveiled Realme X50 Pro Play 5G yesterday and 24 hours later, it has launched the much-awaited and teased smartphone named Realme X3 SuperZoom.
The unique thing about this new Realme phone is its telescopic lens sensor with an 8-megapixel sensor (f/3.4 aperture). It is capable of offering up to 5x optical zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. It further comes with optical image stabilization (OIS) that should help users avoid blurry shots. The other three cameras on the phone include a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a pill-shaped punch-hole on the top left corner that houses dual selfie cameras. These feature a 32-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.5 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor paired with 12GB of RAM. There is only one storage option with 256GB of onboard storage. There is a 4,200mAh battery to keep the lights on and support for 30W Dart 3.0 fast charging. It will run Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Realme has priced the Realme X3 SuperZoom at EUR 499 for the sole 12GB/256GB model. It can be pre-ordered via Amazon, MediaMarkt, PhoneHouse, PcComponentes, and Realme's online store. The phone will go on sale starting on June 2nd.
